This year’s Growing Natives Garden Tour will have two gardens to visit in San Carlos. Register for the tour to get the list and directions — it’s free! See the GNGT home page for all of the details, past gardens, and more.
The tour is organized by the California Native Plant Society (Santa Clara Valley Chapter) in association with UCCE Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County. Since 2003, these tours have shared the love of native plant gardening with the public. Many of the gardens are private, so the only chance to visit them is during the tour.
On Saturday, April 13, the northern region will host tours, including in San Carlos. Among others, the public garden at the San Carlos Library will be featured. On Sunday, April 14, tours will be open in the southern region.
